I was gone for only a few days (ok, maybe a few weeks) and chaos took hold of Blogville. What is this I hear about Boorish not blogging anymore? I am still unclear of what happened....or why it happened, but I do have to say that I am very disappointed.
Why can't people read a post, leave a comment and move the heck on? There is no blogger who actually spills all the beans about their life. Even the alleged anonymous bloggers still keep some things 2 themselves, so why all negative comments? Bloggers have been forced to put up comment moderation and reject anonymous comments because a few anonymous commenters have decided to say all kinds of ish. And you know what, I could swear that most of the anonymous commenters are bloggers themselves! They just do not have the balls to say what is on their mind.
I don't know why Boorish blogs (or why he used 2 blog), but for me, I started blogging as a fun thing. When I started it, I was not even aware of any other Nigerian blogger. I just blogged. I did not have any comments, but it did not matter. I was basically entertaining myself. But now that NaijaBlogville is popular, people have been behaving badly. I personally do not care to receive any ignorant comment on my blog; if it bothers you so much, give me a call and state your actual name - or else, please forever hold your peace.
I have not read Waffarian's gist about the guy who hurt her because I have been gone for too long, and that is just too much reading for me to catch up to, but one thing puzzles me though, why or how did people get the idea that it was Boorish?? And why did said people decide to ride the fence?? I mean, why accuse him of being the one and then go back to tell him not to worry? Do y'll not know about the power of technology AKA the internet??? Anyway, I need not mention any names; you know yourselves.
But Boorish, don't leave ur blog for such foolishness. I am not gonna acknowledge your blogbituary because you shall rise from the dead, lol. Seriously, come back!!!
And since you're not receiving comments on your blog, this is me BEGGIN' you to come back. Ladies & Gents of Blogville, please help me beg Boorish to come back o!
